I just took a look at your profile. You have only been here for three days! Give it some time- you don't start out with a high hubber score right off the bat, you have to earn it. And once you have, you have to maintain it. I wrote a hub about it if you want to check it out for more info.
Basic rules/what to watch: Keep publishing Quality hubs. The better the hub, the better its score and in turn, the better your hubber score. Take a break from all the 'folowing' too. If your activity is filled with nothing but following other hubbers, that usually makes your score lower. Fill up your activity with reading and commenting on others hubs. Check out the forums and participate in some discussions. But most importantly- be patient smile

Thank you. I will check out your hub. I started out with a 30 something score then it dropped to 0. I thought maybe I was doing something wrong! I'm up to a 5 now, and to be honest, I am enjoying the chance to read other hubs and comment.

Thank you - that helps me also, I have only just started on Hubpages and have a zero score, this explains it nicely.

Four days later, I'm up to a score of 40 and it is steadily rising. This may be of help to other hubbers new to Hubpages.
